Mystery Gifters

We have just opened a gift from a very kind person who gave us a non-stick pizza pan from Dillards.

In addition, we have also opened up a 5PC place setting also sent from Dillards

Unfortunately, there was no name on either gift! Thank you very much, whoever you are! If you let us know who you are, we would like to send you a proper thanks.

Thanks again!

The Honeymoon is Over

We're back now! We had a wonderful time in Hawai'i. I hope we'll get some pictures up soon. In the mean time, we will be opening all your wonderful gifts and trying to organize our apartment.

The cats are mildly tolerating eachother. Velvet likes to hiss, and Charlie has learned just to stand there and stare at her.

Thank you all for your help, support, and participation in our wedding! You all made it wonderful and special.

We would really like to have copies of all the pictures that you took of us before, at, and after the wedding. If you would like to upload your pictures, please visit our photos page!

Thanks!

He made it back!

Last update I told you Andrew was in Russia. I figured I ought to let you know he made it back safe and sound (25hrs late) just in case any of you were worried he wouldn't make it to the wedding. With the wedding quickly approaching, we are keeping ourselves busy with all the final details. We are both very excited and will be more then ready for Hawaii when all the activities are done!

Andrew in Russia

It's been awhile since we've updated the site. After moving into our new place, Andrew didn't have internet access for a long time. He left on the 21st of April for Russia and will gone for 18 days! He'll be teaching the first five books of the Old Testament in a Bible school there. Before he left we got engagement photos taken and we picked out a bedroom set. We also picked out and ordered our wedding bans. Now more then ever it is feeling very real. Soon we will be married! The day after Andrew left I had my bridal portraits taken. My mom flew in from Illinois to help me with that and other details of the wedding preperations.

Moving to the New Place

Well, it took all weekend, but we (and by "we" I mean Andrew) got moved into the new apartment. It's nice, and we hope to put up pictures soon. Nothing remotely wedding related got done this weekend.

I'll be paying the videographer today. Interesting, huh?

***IMPORTANT ANNOUCEMENTS***

2 New Announcements:

1) The wedding time has changed. Through various miscommunications with different vendors, the time printed on the invitations is NOT the time of the wedding. We would love all of you to be able to attend the wedding, so please note:

The wedding will ceremony will begin at 11:00 am NOT at 1:00 pm as noted on the invitations

2) There was a weird bug in the RSVP system. If you clicked on a button and it did NOT do anything, we did not get your RSVP. I have "fixed" it for the time being, and it should work correctly now. Please confirm your RSVP by checking your name on the RSVP page. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

Registries and Flowers

Well, while the registries are not complete (we suspect that our chosen china has been discontinued, again) they are closer to completion than they were at the beginning of the weekend! Yay for us! OK, more: "Yay for Erica!" The registry will be updated further as time goes on.

We've also signed a contract for flowers and photography. It's all comming together nicely.

No stress at all. Nope. None here.

Invitations!

After a long process, we've completed only about half of the invitations!!! Yay! They'll be sent out tonight. Hopefully we'll get the rest done soon.

We've also updated the registry page. We will be registered at Dillards, Bed, Bath, and Beyond, and Sears.

Things are moving forward!!!!

Photos, Registries, and Invitations

Well, there has been a lot of work in the past few days. Erica and I have looked over a few new registries. Once they're done, we'll put them up on the site. Registering takes a lot of energy!

I've put up a few new pictures in the photo area of the engagement party!

This weekend, several friends joined us in addressing invitations. They should be sent out soon. Once the invitations have been sent, you can RSVP here on the site!

We Have a Place to Live!

Well, we've decided on a complex, Signature Ridge. They were running a really good special, and so we are paying a significantly reduced rate. This will be our home for the next 15 months (at least).

Our apartment number will be: 1928.

Pre-Registration Decisions

This has been a weekend of decisions! We have spent a lot of time at the mall mulling over all our different options.

First, we have just about decided on a china pattern. We still have to find out if it will continue for a while, but we're pretty sure that it will. If you'd like to see it you can click here.

Second, we have some idea of what kind of silver we are interested in. Check it out!

Third, we've really like these stems. You can view them here.

In addition, we've found decided on tuxes for the groomsmen. We will be using Gingiss as our provider. If you're a groomsman, all you have to do is get your measurements to them.

We've also been looking for a place to live after the wedding. We've narrowed it down to 4 places The Waters at Elm Creek, DeZavala Oaks, La Mirage, and Signature Ridge.

Busy Weekend!

After the Engagement Party

Well, we had a great time at the engagement party! Thanks to everyone who came out and celebrated with us. There were a few faces that were missed, but I'm sure we'll see you at other times in the future.

We have been working on our registry lately. As of this moment, we haven't really registered anywhere. (Foley's doesn't count because we don't really want the towels on that list, we just put them on the registry so that we could start the process.) We now know what we want to register for, and we have some idea where we would like to register. Hopefully we can get this done this comming weekend.

We are also looking for a place to live once we get married. We've made some progress, but there are a lot of places to look!

Valentine's Day and Beyond!

Well, today Erica found a great bridesmaid dress online. She's contacting all of the bridesmaids by e-mail about it now. It looks good to me, but I guess that isn't saying much.

We've also tentatively booked a band. We still have to meet with them and hammer out the details, but I don't think that will be too much of an issue.

This Saturday we are having an engagement party "open house" at Erica's house. Everyone is invited!

Valentine's Day was nice. It was our first together. I "cooked" a nice lobster tail dinner at her house and we watched _Emma_.

We hope you all had as wonderful of a Valentines Day as we did!

Bridesmaid Dresses and Video

Well, yesterday Erica found out that the bridesmaid dress maker is not able to get the dresses out on time. Sadly, this means that Erica is back to square one with the dresses. She's looking around at different makers, but this close to the wedding it's difficult to find someone who can get the dresses done on time.

It looks like we have settled on a videographer. It will save us another $500 off of our budget, and it looks like he does really good work. I look forward to seeing the final result. Now I just have to confirm with him....

Site Done!!!!

Finally, after far too much effort has been poured into it, the site is pretty much complete. I say pretty much, because there's always more that I can do, but just don't have the time. Nevertheless, I hope you like it. Especially the photos!
