Podcast: Cleaning Up and Laser Pointer

The first part of this video shows Lillian cleaning up her alphabet tiles before going to bed. Lillian is quite an orderly little girl. Her favorite word right now is "mess." Fairly recently, after a meal where she got yogurt all over herself, she looked me in the eye and declared: "I'm a mess!" I wish I could have gotten that on tape.

The second portion of the video shows us saying goodnight to a "fairy." I recently was using my green laser pointer at work, and was playing with it at home. When Lillian saw it, she was scared of it, so Erica quickly told Lillian that it was a friendly fairy. Lillian was so taken with it, that she walked around the house all day looking for the fairy. In order for her to have closure, we had one more sighting of the fairy so she could say goodbye. She still brings it up every once in a while, but we always remind her that it has gone away.
